Shira Eisenberg

Board Certified Behavior Analyst

I have a diverse educational background and a passion for creating positive behavioral change. My journey began during an internship in Key Largo, Florida, where I studied Dolphin-Human Therapy. It was here that I worked alongside educators and therapists, learning a variety of techniques for working with children. Through this experience, I discovered that Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) was the most effective method for promoting positive behavior in a constructive way.

Inspired by this discovery, I went on to earn my Master’s Degree from Columbia Teacher’s College. I am board-certified in Behavior Analysis, licensed in New York, and certified as both a regular and special educator. In 2005, I had the privilege of presenting at the National Applied Behavior Analysis Conference, where I was also a grant recipient.

Over the years, I've worked in a range of teaching and teacher-training roles across New York, honing my ability to create tailored behavioral plans for individuals and families. My expertise spans areas such as Executive Functioning, Behavior Modification, and Family Dynamics.

When I'm not working, I enjoy raising my two children in Brooklyn with my husband and taking full advantage of everything New York City has to offer families.

Let me know what you think!
